The Ribbond technique in Dentorium Dental Clinics
The photo shows the Ribbond technique, which is applied as a temporary functional and aesthetic solution after surgical therapy of bone augmentation and during osseointegration of implants.
In this case, two anterior teeth were extracted, and an augmented (upgraded) bone with Geistlich Bio-Oss® artificial bone was introduced into the spot where two implants are planned for the future.
This technique enables a very quick tooth replacement, where the extracted teeth (i.e. the crowns of the same teeth) are replaced by the implant on the same day. That way we are able to meet all the aesthetic and functional needs of the patient, even at this stage of therapy.
Ribbond is an extremely fast and effective alternative in deploying temporary teeth.
