Virtual smile simulation, made possible by DSD, is an important and powerful tool – not only for the dental team, when it facilitates diagnosis, process planning, communication and execution, but also for the patient, who can experience a new smile in a virtual environment, before we start with the therapy, even before making the important decisions.
Digital Smile Design can help us with creating the perfect teeth and unique smiles that will fit the anatomy and personality of each patient, and will provide essential, direct and transparent insight into the financial aspect of therapy.

Digital Smile Design, Wax up and Mock up
A combination of modern technology and DSD concepts leads to a very precise visualization of a patient’s future smile; it includes thorough photo and video protocols and enables Dr Daniel and the team to create and design perfect smiles characteristic of the patient’s facial features, personality and lifestyle.

DSD examination,

The first dental examination with us is not only a formality, but also the most important step of our relationship, upon which you will be fully informed about your condition. The unique first visit at Dentorium consists, in fact, of two hourly visits, that result in a detailed therapy plan.
With an improved digital photo and video analysis of the oral cavity, we are able to have a complete insight into the characteristics of your face and smile, the pronunciation, and the functionality of the teeth, and it is followed by a detailed analysis based on the results of photo and video recordings of the patient’s impressions and recordings.

DSD plan
After taking photos and impressions, we proceed to digitally design your smile with a clear vision of the end result. Thanks to a specialised programme, we create a unique smile for each patient.
Your smile should match the physical characteristics of your face as well as your personality. Based on the existing state of your mouth, we make a mock up/wax up wax model of your impression that allows us to customise it down to the finest details.
We accommodate the patient’s wishes with the realistic possibilities of producing prosthetic replacements, and the biggest advantage is the fact that the patient has the opportunity to try out a model of his smile with various facial expressions even before we start with the agreed treatment.

Treatment
and the final result
After all the adjustments and after reaching an agreement with the patient, we approach the first stage of the treatment. Depending on your issue and your wishes, your DSD plan will be completely personalized for you, and it can contain a combination of cosmetic and restorative techniques in order to renew the health, function and aesthetics of your smile.
Given the fact that your perfect smile designed with the Digital Smile Design technology can include several different treatments, the time frame of the process of your smile’s transformation can vary, and it is hard to predict when the process will end, however, you can be certain that we will implement our plan to strengthen your new smile.
At the end we will record everything with another photo and video protocol, after which, we are sure, you will not stop laughing!
