1. Vanessa, how did you choose a career at Dentorium?
I wanted a change and a new challenge. What attracted me to Dentorium was its original and innovative approach. I was enchanted by their infectious smile, enthusiasm and the level of confidence that Daniel and other team members showed towards my work. We may have met by chance, but since I know that such accidental situations don’t really exist, I dare to say that Dentorium “chose” me.
2. What does Dentorium mean for you?
Dentorium is a totally different dental practice. Its positive energy, its team of top experts, and the human approach towards each patient, treated with warmth, stand out from the crowd. Creativity, a high level of professionalism, and the relaxed atmosphere of the team – it’s like the three-in-one, every day!
I consider Dentorium to be like a family, with everything that delivers. 😊
3. What is the biggest challenge, and what do you find to be the biggest reward in your work?
The biggest challenge is to maintain the high-quality standards of the services we provide. Also, every new patient is a new challenge as well as every next step taken, until the work is complete. The biggest reward is the spontaneous and sincere smile of a happy patient, with no holding back, along with the knowledge that we have changed someone’s life and made it a bit more beautiful.
4. Who was the biggest inspiration in your career?
Inspiration… I think that’s the support and encouragement to express what I have inside and to understand how to give it to others. Daniel was the one who recognized my talents and encouraged me to express my creativity and skills. I find inspiration in giving a part of yourself to others, without losing anything. There’s just the gain.
5. Is there a specific patient experience that is carved in your memory?
It is not easy to single out only one experience and a single patient. Our relationship with each of them begins the minute they walk into our office. The fear of pain and financial concerns are our patients’ biggest worries, but by guiding them in each step of their way, everything is possible, when we come to an agreement and make a plan. My full commitment to patients includes a lot of communication, where they are free to ask me whatever might interest or bother them. That’s how every next visit becomes more enjoyable, so if their therapy lasts longer, they tend to make stronger bonds with our dental practice – which goes both ways.
I am fascinated by the transformation that happens every time. From the initial fear, discomfort and lack of information, to the last visit, when the patient leaves with a lot of self-confidence, a lasting smile, and an attitude that he can overcome any obstacle that comes his way.
I love my job, which I consider to be a daily, lifelong learning experience and growth opportunity, where every patient leaves a mark in my professional pathway.
